Ruttley’s Run was originally a dairy farm situated on 130 acres located on the river flats of the Manning River at Taree, NSW. It has been transformed into an outstanding agistment farm. The farm was originally owned by the Trotter family who grazed cattle on its lush pastures, and purchased in 2005 to become Ruttley’s Run, with the view of establishing a stud operation on this exceptional block. The property is located approx 2.5km from the Taree CBD and a couple of minutes from the Pacific Hwy.
Over the past few years, Ruttley’s Run has endured a transformation into an exceptional equine agistment property. Ruttley’s Run previously stood Nabis (by Mr Prospector) and now owns the promising stallion May’Haab (by Redoute’s Choice). Unraced due to injury, May'Haab is a full-brother to exciting young sire prospect Al Samer who had his first crop fetch the second highest price of $130,000 at the 2009 William Inglis and Son's Classic Yearling Sale.
May’Haab will begin his highly anticipated stud duties in 2009. May'Haab was bred by Emirates Park and was a $950,000 graduate at the 2007 William Inglis and Son's Australian Easter Yearling Sale which obviously matched his type, pedigree and temperament.
